Director of Development:


Missouri Military Academy is searching for a Director of Development to lead the Academy’s fundraising division. The director will report directly to the president and oversee the annual fund, planned giving, grant writing, capital campaign, special events and all other aspects of the Academy’s fundraising programs. Successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, five years experience in fundraising, and the ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing. The candidate must have strong computer skills to include use of Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft Office programs. Sufficient financial management experience to administer the division’s budget is required. Competitive salary with benefits.

Must be certified or certifiable as an Army JROTC instructor with US Army Cadet Command, Ft. Monroe, VA.. Recently retired Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard Officer in Grades W-3 through W-5 or O-4 through O-6. Bachelors Degree Required; Masters Degree preferred; Education Degree a plus. Background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Duties include but are not limited to: Daily classroom teaching of Army JROTC subjects and Drill and Ceremonies; Marksmanship Instruction; Physical Fitness Training; Coaching intramural sports; Counseling teenage boys; Instructing and supervising rappelling; Communicating with cadet families.
