After Stribling Hall, "A" Barracks is the second oldest structure on campus; its ornate stone façade dates back to 1916. Over the years, this building has served as a high school barracks, a Middle School barracks, a Science Team workshop, and a classroom building. Currently, the Learning Resource Center is housed on "A" Barracks's lower level, along with social studies, mathematics and JROTC classrooms.
