MMA's 218-acre
back campus wilderness area is an ideal location for recreation.
Here, faculty members can take cadets on campouts and cookouts
at Camp Mismilaca, on the shores of 20-acre Lake Burlington. Mismilaca
is also a preferred destination for MMA's Boy Scout Troop 39,
which uses the school's lakeside lodge for fishing, boating, and
working on merit badges.
The wilderness area is also the site of the Academy's obstacle
course, which is utilized during military adventure training. |
